The government has announced that they are offering a rebate if your home (or rental property) is not insulated.  Up to $1600 for your residential home and up to $1000 on your rental property/ies.  At Better Home Improvements we supply and install Pink Batt insulation which comes with a written lifetime warranty on both the product and the installation (in the form of a certificate) and we cover the entire South West – from Bunbury to Augusta to Manjimup to Kojonup and in between. A great way to cut down your heating costs.

Another form of insulation that we install are Concertina Foil batts which are great for walls and under homes (although only ceilings are eligible for the rebate).

As it is starting to cool down now is a good time to think about Speedheat Underfloor Heating as your source of heating (especially in your bathroom), a skylight or Velux roof window to let some light into what would normally be a dark room in winter and a patio so the kids can play outside undercover.
